![]() Marketing planned gifts is a great way to raise significant funds. Public television stations everywhere large and small are already bringing in many millions of dollars. And your station can too. But you've got to get started, and there's no better time than now! Planned gift marketing is a critically important fundraising strategy without which no development program is complete. Planned giving allows a sizeable segment of the audience, particularly many older viewers on fixed incomes who otherwise might be able to make only small contributions, to make a significant gift to public broadcasting. Because planned gifts are usually designated for endowment rather than for current operations, planned giving gives stations a tool to build long-term financial stability. The Corporation for Public Broadcasting has funded this site to help every station launch a successful planned giving program.
